Tura, June 17: Suspected Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) rebels lobbed a grenade at William
nagar police station late Sunday night but there were no casualties, police said.
The rebels tossed the grenade at Williamnagar police station which landed between the police staff quarters in the district headquarter of East Garo Hills at around 11.30 p.m.
The police said that no one was hurt but the fringe of the blast site sustained material damage. Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt to nab the attackers.(SP News)
