Shillong, July 22: A conglomeration of the NGO’s from Meghalaya today held the demonstration at the Village Sabuda to protest the action of the Assam Government who dismantle the mid day meal building school on Saturday last.
The demonstration that was held today is to protest of what the government of Assam done to the skul building and at the same time to put pressure to the government of Meghalaya to safeguard the border should have an early solution to this vex border dispute with Assam Government.
The Syiem of Raid Nongtung Mr M Shadap told SP News Agency that he was in dilemma what to say about the incident the school building was their since 1995, the school was build by the contribution of the people of the village.
But to his surprise when a small build is constructed for cooking the mid day meal for the school children the government of Assam take this action to dismantle it, and why the government of Assam is targeting Sabuda Village.(SP News)
