Shillong, Dec 01: The Government of Meghalaya, in a notification issued, has ordered the creation of Purakhasia C&RD Block in the State with immediate effect. This was informed by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, C&RD Department.
Purakhasia C&RD Block shall comprise of the villages of Halchati, Madragre, Seragre, Noksi, Belobor, Nekdalgre, Naronggre, Naronggre Songitcham, Dolbapara, Dobokgre, Bidapara, Sonajuri, Borobollang, Chottobollang, Rohonpara, Kotchu Adok, Sanda Adu, Gobindapara, Bondhukosa.
Porakhasia, Bhatuagaon, Balijhora, Dobakura A, Dobakura B, Borjhora, Balihata, Chongnapara, Khasipara, Sandagre Polpola, Jarangkhona, Monupara, Darong Adu, Jarangpara, Medhupara, Santang Nokatgre, Agalgre, Pokasindigre, Genapara, Babelapara, Wakmedamgre, Dusinggre.
Gopramgre, Molongpara, Hatimara, Anchenggre, Kerupara (Bokmagre), Mrengpara, Gujangpara, Rapangpanggre, Sanjangpara, Bakdagre, Rimtangpara, Ritekpara, Samtangpara, Damdiloka, Josipara, Songmagre, Gopinathkilla, Durapara.
Dingampara, Salmanpara, Dinapara, Darugre, Nachilpara, Bangdapara, Chopapara, Boldakgre, Damalgre, Sindilgre, Kimdegre, Okchokgre, Kidapara, Santogre, Megapgre and Kerupara. With this creation, the above listed villages will cease to exist in their respective earlier C&RD Blocks.
