Shillong, oct 03: In series of events to mark the 151st Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Assam Rifles on 01 Oct 20, planted more than 42,000 saplings.
They also organised cleanliness drive in all the garrisons of the Force under ‘Swachhta Abhiyan’. All ranks and families of the Force paid homage to the ‘Father of Nation’ through active participation in the event.
