Shillong, August 06: The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District stated that it has come to the notice of the Undersigned, that the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) appointed by the respective Electoral Registration Officers are staying away from their official duties in their parent department on the pretext of carrying out BLO duties.
It is reiterated that the BLOs are to report to their respective offices, except, when assigned duty by the Electoral Registration Officer with intimation to the Controlling Officer.
This order is to be complied strictly and any deviations will invite strict disciplinary action as per rule said the Deputy Commissioner Election and District election officer East Khasi Hills District, Shillong.
