Shillong, Dec15: The Government of Meghalaya in a Notification issued through the Home (Police) Department has notified for setting up the Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School at Baghmara, South Garo Hills District, Meghalaya.
This is to provide specialized counter-insurgency and jungle warfare skills to State Police and Commando forces and also to train special units in jungle warfare and counter insurgency operations.
