Ampati, June 18: The District Level Inter School Subroto Mukherjee Cup 2024 concluded on Monday at Students’ Field, Ampati, South West Garo Hills. Organized by the Office of the District Sports Officer, South West Garo Hills, Ampati, the tournament featured thrilling matches among Under 15 boys, Under 17 boys, and Under 17 girls teams.
In the Under 17 Girls category, Okhapara Secondary School emerged victorious, with Springfield Higher Secondary School securing the runners-up position. The best player award was given to Anggilchi Mirza G Sangma of Okhapara Secondary School.
For the Under 15 Boys, St. Claret Higher Secondary School claimed the winner’s trophy, while Emmanuel English School, Betasing took the runners-up spot. The best player in this category was Pangkim M Marak from St. Claret Higher Secondary School.
In the Under 17 Boys division, Okhapara Secondary School again showed their prowess by winning the tournament. Rongsang Abagre Secondary School was the runner-up, and the best player award was earned by Limilo Ch Momin of Rongsang Abagre Secondary School.
The winners from this district-level tournament will advance to compete in the State Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup, representing South West Garo Hills.
