Dr. M. Ampareen assured will addressing unresolved issues in the AYUSH sector

Shillong, January 16: Health and Family Welfare Minister, Dr. M. Ampareen Lyngdoh, assured that the government is committed to identifying and addressing unresolved issues in the AYUSH sector with urgency and precision.

Speaking at the Tin Anniversary celebration  cum general Meeting of the Ayush Medical Association of Meghalaya, the Minister emphasized the increasing importance of Ayush practice which has become a priority for the government of India.

The minister acknowledged that many Ayush Doctors remain in contractual positions even after a decade of service. She also said that the government recognized these challenges and is actively working to rectify them by addressing systematic gaps and creating permanent solutions for the Ayush workforce.

Dr M Ampareen Lyngdoh also encouraged Doctors to continue serving the public with dedication despite the obstacles as their role is crucial in the state Health Care system. She also highlighted the government’s determination to establish Meghalaya first Medical College by 2025.

Dr Lyngdoh also reaffirmed the government commitment to ensuring that Ayush doctors receive the recognition and stability they deserve emphasizing their importance in addressing th eState Health care needs.
