Shillong, April 10: The Meghalaya State Cooperative Marketing & Consumers’ Federation Ltd.(MECOFED) after the golden hand shake made by the government now they could mange to survive form their own sources of Income that they getting from their daily business activates.
To generate more income the MECOFED has lease out their land at Dawki and Thadlaskein to the Tourism Department, the others place where they have lease is to the Tura Municipal Board for construction of the parking lot at Tura.
The activities of the MECOFED has been slashed down by the state government in the past years by taking away the supply form the corporation and hand it over to the private parties.(SP News)
