Shillong, Feb 20: The BJP Meghalaya are shocked and deeply anguished by the sudden demise of Dr. Ricky Andrew Jones Syngkon, Member of Parliament from Shillong constituency. As we bid him a tearful final farewell, we look back at a life that can serve as an inspiration for us all.
We remember Dr. Syngkon fondly as one of the foremost academicians of our state, as a man who was always brimming with life and a human being whose warmth touched one and all.
A true believer of God, Dr. Syngkon believed in the upliftment of mankind and worked hard towards keeping the interest of Meghalaya’s indigenous communities always at the forefront of national affairs.
His demise has left a void in state politics that will be hard to fill. We pray to the Almighty that Dr. Ricky Andrew Jones Syngkon’s soul may Rest In Peace, said Mr. Rikman G momin State President BJP Meghalaya.
