Shillong, Oct 31: In a notification issued, the Government of Meghalaya has declared the community forest of Sein Raij Khloo Kynrien, West Jaintia Hills as a Community Reserve to be known as the Ka Lum Thangbru Khloo Kynrien Community Reserve with immediate effect.
The members of the Managing Committee of the Ka Lum Thangbru Khloo Kynrien Community Reserve shall comprise of Shri. Wanmi Dhar as Chairperson and Shri Hiarmon S Manar, Shri Nibha Lapasam, Shri Davidson Sayoo and Shri Kolan Shadap as Members.
The Divisional Forest Officer, Jaintia Hills Wildlife Division, Jowai or her nominee not below the rank of Forester-I shall be the Member Secretary. The Chairperson of the Community Reserve shall also be the Honorary Wildlife Warden of the Community Reserve.
