Shillong, Oct 09: Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has been conducting the Special Campaign 5.0. The main focus areas of the Campaign include effective disposal of public grievances, references from Members of Parliament, Parliament assurances, cleanliness drive in the workplace and around the premise, disposal of scrap and weeding out of files.
The Campaign started with a preparatory phase from 15th-30th September 2025 to identify targets to be taken up for cleaning during the implementation phase starting from 2nd October 2025 till 31st October 2025.
During the campaign, NSO(FOD) Regional office Shillong, special emphasis is being given to achieve space management and enhancement of workplace experience in offices along with beautification of offices and cleanliness.
As part of this Special Campaign 5.0, National Statistics Office, Field Operations Division, Regional office Shillong had organised a Cleaning Drive around Ward’s Lake Area on 09th October 2025 which was assigned to RO Shillong.
As part of the campaign a cleaning drive at the office and office premises was also conducted at NSO(FOD) RO Shillong, during the campaign; weeding of file, disposal of waste & scrapped items also took place.
The programme was actively participated by Officers and staffs of the office of NSO (FOD) RO Shillong with a motto to keep office surrounding and Shillong area a clean place.
