Shillong, June 27: Every year, India Today conducts a ranking of the best private universities in the country. The universities are evaluated on five objective criteria covering 120 attributes and a qualitative perceptual survey of 303 prominent academicians.
The criteria are intake quality and governance, academic and research excellence, infrastructure and living experience, personality and leadership development and career progression and placement.
Out of the many private universities in the country, India Today ranked 42 private universities as the best private general universities and Martin Luther Christian University was ranked 41st in this category. MLCU is also the only private university in Meghalaya to receive a ranking.
