Shillong, August 21: The NEHU Inter College Football for Men Tournament 2023 kick start with an opening ceremony on 21st August 2023 at the SAI Football Ground, NEHU Permanent Campus, Shillong where Prof. L. Kma graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Shri. N. Das, Asst. Director (PE & Sports), NEHU cum Organising Secretary of the tournament was also present during the ceremony.
On the opening matched in the Inter College Football men Tournament, Ri-Bhoi College, Nongpoh defeated St. Dominic College, Shillong by 3-2, Sohra Govt. College, Sohra defeated NEHU Tura Campus, Tura by 3-0, Morningstar College, Shillong defeated K. L. Bajoria College by 4-3 and St. Anthony’s College, Shillong defeated Don Bosco College, Tura by 8-0.
On the second day the matches 22nd August 2023 will be played , Seng Khasi College v/s Mawlai Presbyterian College, Union Christian College, Umiam v/s Don Bosco College, Byndihati, NEIAH, Shillong v/s Smit College, Shillong and Balawan College, Umsning v/s Kiang Nangbah Govt. College, Jowai.
