Shillong, July 26: The Director of Meghalaya Health Services Dr Aman War today said that only the state government has the authority to declare that a person is tested COVID-19 positive.
Dr War asked the public to refrain from circulating rumours that there is COVID-19 positive case in the locality with out the confirmation from the authority concern, this was the reaction on rumours that there are COVID-19 positive cases in certain locality with out confirming from government.
The Director Health Services stated that when a 108 Ambulance enter any locality thus not mean that a person taken in the Ambulance is a COVID-19 patient, he or she may suffering from others ailment.
