Shillong, Dec 29: Prof. (Dr.) Ananya Das from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong received the prestigious Dr. Jagadishwari Mishra Oration award for Surgery and Medicine for her outstanding contribution as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, during the 100 th All India Medical Conference IMA NATCON 2025 at Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 27-28 December 2025.
Prof. Ananya delivered the oration entitled “The Problem Statement and the need to Preserve Uterus” which was highly appreciated and widely received. Director NEIGRHMS, Prof. Nalin Mehta congratulated Dr. Ananya for her achievements and also applauded her efforts in receiving much recognition in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Prof. Mehta further added that such awards highlight the NEIGRIHMS’s position in academic and patient care throughout the region.
