Shillong, March 05: To commemorate International Women’s Day 2026, under the initiative of the National Commission for Women, New Delhi in collaboration with the State Women Commissions, “Mahila Jan Sunwai Public Hearings will be organised across the country from the 9th to 13th of March, 2026.
In the state of Meghalaya, the Public Hearing for Women will be held on the 11th of March, 2026 at Polo Ground (Parking Lot), Shillong at 11:30 AM.
The Public Hearing in Meghalaya will be chaired by the Chairperson of the Meghalaya State Commission for Women. In order to ensure that all concerned women are aware of this opportunity, walk-in complaints will be accepted on the scheduled date of the hearing.
