Shillong, March 13: Today the 28 Bn under BSF Meghalaya conducted a Civic Action Programme at village Bollongre, South West Garo Hills along Indo-Bangladesh Border.
During the programme, Border Security Force unit distributed sports items for youths, agricultural tools and water storage tanks for farmers, stationeries and school bags for students. Approx. 250 people from bordering villages attended the programme.
They expressed their happiness and gratitude on friendly gesture shown by 28 Bn BSF. Villagers stated that such programmes will go a long way in further consolidating the bond and harmonious relationship prevailing between the locals and Border Security Force.
