Shillong, April 22: Todayat around 12:21 pm a report of fire incident in the house of one person viz. Smt. Presila N. Marak of Morongga Nengkram under Rongjeng Police Station in East Garo Hills District was received at Mangsang Outpost.
Immediately, a team from Fire and Emergency Service Station Rongjeng rushed to the spot and doused the fire. It was ascertained that there was no one in the house when the fire incident took place.
Further, the cause of the fire is found to be due to faulty wiring and no foul play is suspected. Anyone known or found taking advantage of the same with a view to create law and order and communal disharmony will be dealt with firmly as per law.
