The NEZCC, Ministry of Culture, Govt of India, Dimapur invites application for YTA Award 

Shillong, July 28: The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Dimapur invites application for Young Talent Artistes Award for the year 2022-2023 from outstanding candidates, talented/skilled in the categories of folk and tribal music, songs and dance.

Theatre, dance drama, mime, painting, wood, cane and  bamboo crafts, traditional handloom and  handicrafts, pottery, etc., unmarried young artistes, artisans in the age group of 18 to 30 years (as on 31st March, 2023) are eligible to apply for the Award.

The award consists of Rs 20,000, a Citation and a Memento. Candidates should be an Indian citizen and indigenous to the eight North Eastern States. Candidates who have received any such Awards State and National earlier in the same field are not eligible for the Scheme.

Deserving artistes/artisans may collect the Application Form from the Office of the Director of Arts & Culture, Government of Meghalaya.   The last date for submission of the application is on 18th August, 2023, and no application thereafter will be entertained.
