Maligaon, Oct 30: The N. F. Railway will observe the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ from 30th October to 05thNovember, 2023, throughout all its Divisions, Workshops and Construction field units. The theme that is leading this awareness week of 2023 will be “Say no to corruption;commit to theNation”.
‘Integrity Pledge’ was administered today by Shri Chetan Kumar Shrivastava, General Manager, Northeast Frontier Railway and Shri Sunil Kumar Jha, General Manager, N.F. Railway (Construction) at the premises of GM’s office, Maligaon and GM (CON)’s office, Maligaon respectively to all the employees of N. F. Railway at Headquarters and its Divisions.
The moto of this pledge is to bring about integrity and transparency in all spheres of activities thus eradicating corruption in every aspect of life including the working environment.
During theweek-long Vigilance Awareness Week various programmes will be conducted throughout N. F. Railway to create awareness among the railway employees and general public.
As a part of the observance of the awareness week, various interactive sessions with all departmental officers of N. F. Railway Headquarters and divisions will be organised for systemic improvements.
“Sangosthi” on the topic- “Say no to corruption; commit to the nation” will be organised by participation of higher officials of N. F. Railway(Open Line and Construction Organisation).
Essay writing,drawing and painting competition will be organised at Railway schools amongst the school students.An inter college debate on the theme- “Say no to corruption; commit to the nation” will be organised on 03rd November, 2023 at Pandu College, Guwahati.
Street Play by railway employees and members of Bharat Scouts and Guides will be organised to spread awareness to sensitize citizens on the ill-effects of corruption. A vigilance bulletin will be released and a Walkathon will also be organised during this observancefor spreading awareness.
