Shillong December 11: The Meghalaya Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma while replying to the question of the opposition leader in the floor of the house today told the house that the cabinet will take the decision today and will introduce the bill in this current session.
The members of the committee to elected the chairman of the State Lokaykta are the chief justice of the Guwahati High Court, the Speaker of the Assembly a
nd the Leader of the opposition.
Elaborating the State Lokaykta the chief minister said that the state government takes the issued as a top priory that is why the government is considering bringing this bill in the floor of the house within this session.
On the demand from the Jaiaw MLA, Paul Lyngdoh, the Chief Minister said that due to time constrain it wont be possible to call the all party meeting but since the bill will be place on the floor of the house members of the august house has every opportunity to discuss it.(SP News)
