16th Annual State Council Meeting of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides

Shillong Nov 30: The 16th Annual State Council Meeting of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides was held on Friday at State Headquarters of Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides, Shillong where Vice President of the State Executive Committee of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts, W. R. Marbaniang, (rtd.) IPS presided over the meeting.

During the meeting, the State Executive Committee discussed on the steady growth in all the strategic priorities of the movement with a growing upward trend both in Census, Finance, Adult Resources, Management and Communication and Public Relations in accordance with a vision 2015 which is a strategic plan of the State Association.

The meeting further discussed on the major successes in the current year, including the ongoing development of State Training Centre (STC), increase in their income from other sources, selection of young members to represent the country in International Events and recognition of Adult Leaders by the benign state government.(SP News)
