Jowai, April 06: The Jiantia Hills Aitonomous District Council (JHADC) has its own service rule with the selection board when it comes to the employment of staff in the District Council and the final decision in selecting a candidate for the particular post the Executive Committee take the final decision.
Speaking to SP News Agency many MDC in the JHADC are not aware of the illegal appointment in the Council since, all thus working in the District Council are the Khasi-Pnar only and the appointment letter issued to each of the employee are done by the Executive Committee.
The fact what has happen in the JHADC is that all appointment are met on the temporary and the selection board was called and regularized and the EC approved the appointment. This type of recruitment in the JHADC has been practice for long time with all the previous Executive committee.(SP News)
