Shillong, Aug 20: The Director Sports and Youth Affairs, Meghalaya, Shillong invites application for the nomination of National Youth Award 2013-14 by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs from both individual and voluntary organization who have contributed their outstanding work in the field of National development and social service.
For individuals, persons who are in the age group of 13-35 years and must have completed 13 years of age on 1” April of the financial year for which award is to be conferred and should be less than 35 years. While for voluntary organization those registered under the Registration of Societies Act, 1860 (Act XXII of 1860) of a corresponding State Act at least 3 years and have rendered service involving the youth for at least 3 years.
Detailed guidelines and application form may be obtained from the office during office hour. Last date for submission of application is on 31” July, 2014 which is extended to 25’h August, 2014 for the interest of eligible candidates who are desirous to apply.(SP News)
