Shillong, March 14: The Annual Sport meets of the St, George Higher Secondary School concluded today. The Health minister Mr AL Hek while speaking in the function as the chief quest said that discipline is needed in the daily life of every student.
The minister also said that sport is an activity that shapes the mind of the student both physically and mentally. He urged the student to actively participate in sport activities.
There are five school who participate in this sport event, St, Pepter’s Secondary School, Mawpat, St, Jospeh secondary school, Pynthorbah, Sharon Memorail secondary School , Mawdiangdiang, St, Claret School Nongmynsong, and St, georege Higher Secondary School as the host. The trophy wis given by the chief guest to the wining team.(SP News)
