Shillong, Aug 22: A demi-official note was officially handed over to the Dr Mukul Sangma, Chief Minister on 23rd July 2014, relating to the appointment of Public Notary, under The Notaries Act 1952
The Chief Minister has agreed to look into this very important issue and has directed and forwarded the note to the Law Department, Government of Meghalaya to take necessary steps in the matter of facilitating the notification of Public Notary for Meghalaya under the revelant act for the benefit of the general public.
