Shillong, July 19: The State Bharatiya Janata Party expressed deep concerned about the law and order situation in Garo Hills. The State Government has failed totally for controlling the law and order situation of the Garo region in particular. Common people are leaving in the Garo region with great anxiety. Kidnapping and extortion has become daily news in Garo Hills. The State unit is very un happy over the style of functioning of the Director General of Police and demand for immediate removal of the DGP.
The State leaders of the party who are in Delhi now will raise the issue of law and order situation with the Ministry of Home affairs. BJP leader will apprise them the worst situation in Garo Hills.The State leaders will also raise the central schemes issues in the State with concerned union Minister.(SP News)
