Nongstoin, July 03: The band outfit Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) on the 2 og this month around 10.30 PM attacked the camp of the BSC Company for the second time at Swangre in west Khasi Hills District.
The Superintendent of Police of West Khasi Hills District Mr Silvester Nongtynger told SP News Agency that in the attacked no one was injured. The police posted at Sawngre Camp retaliate it back and push back the militant.
The Superintendent of Police also inform that additional forces has been sent to Sahllang area to combing operation to nap the GNLA militant is on.
The BSC Company is doing the construction work of the Shillong Nongstoin to Tura Road. The militant early this early has attacked theses camp of the BSC company but the police who where posted in the area managed to push them back.(SP News)
