Honest and hardworking need to serve the state and the people:Dr Mukul

Shillong Nov 29: The valedictory function of the Induction training of the Meghalaya Civil Service (MCS) organised by the Meghalaya Administrative Training institute (MATI) was held at Yojana Bhavan Auditorium on Thursday.

Addressing the occasion as the chief guest Chief Minister of Meghalaya Dr Mukul Sangma pointed out on the need of being sincere dedication, honest and hard working to serve the state and the people.

Lauding the organisers for conducting the training the chief minister said such training inducted to 29 probationers  will help them equip with the knowledge and skills to be efficient officers and added that the issue of governance is the key to delivery and growth of the state.

Stressing on the need to remove corruption dr Mukul urged upon the officers that they should not have any space and room for any tendency to corruption.

Meanwhile, prizes and certificates were also being distributed  to the best performance in different categories in the course of the training.

The best probationers award was bagged by Mark anderson Chalam and the highest mark was secured by raja Brahma.(SP News)
