Shillong, Oct 26: Mr Vikash Nandwal a business man who was set on fire by unknown miscreant expired today at the private hospital in the national capital New Delhi.
In this connection the police has arrested two Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) activists whom the police suspect that they are involved in the incident. The KSU members who were arrested are identified as Wankerlang Jyrwa and Badonkupar Nongbri from Lower Mawprem.
Chief Minister Mukul Sangma expressing concern over such attacks said: “The Government will bear all expenses incurred in the treatment of Vikash Nandwal.
To mourn the death of the business man today there will be a candle light gathering at Khyndailad at 7 Pm. These to show the solidarity and pray for his soul that god will grant him internal rest.(SP Newsx)
