Shillong, April 22: The Under 19 I-League Tournament kicked off yesterday in Jamshedpur and SESA Football Academy registered a 2-1 win over the Junior Reds in their first match.
Zodingliana Ralte scored the only goal for Lajong in the 64th minute while Garrison and Jason scored for SESA in the 24th and 74th minute respectively.
The Junior Reds will play their next match on Wednesday against Hindustan FC at 4pm.
Coach Alison Kharsyntiew said, “Hindustan FC is a good side and it will be a tough match tomorrow. The boys have to give their hundred percent on the field and should not take it lightly.”
“We will go all out for a win and hopefully pick up all the three points tomorrow”, he concluded.(SP News)
