Shillong, January 05: The Tripartite Peace talk between The 
(ANVC) The state Government and Government of India which held today at the Police Circuit House at Pynthor was cordial said the Publicity Secretary of the outfit Mr Artis Sengran Sangma after the meeting with the government official.
Speaking to reporters Mr Sangma said that the Meeting is very fruitful from the government said has shown their positive sign that they will accept the demand of the ANVC. From their side also withdraw some of their demand from the list that they have submitted to the Government.
He mentions few demand made from the ANVC which the government has agreed that they will increased the seat in the Gora Hills Autonomous District Council from the present 30 to 35 seat.
The direct funding that will come from the central government will be routed through the state Government. All the details will come to know only when they sign the final agreement on next week; there will be another round of talk.
From the ANVC has drop from their demand like Autonomous Council for Garo Hills, the Superintend of Police and Deputy Commissioner and others demand. The Publicity Secretary confirms about the ANVC (B) that three of them participate in the tripartite talk.
About the GNLA, Mr Sangma said that the ANVC will ask them to join the peace talk in order to bring lasting peace in the Garo Hills region. The publicity secretary clear mention what the ANVC asked is for the people of Garo Hills(SP News)
