Jowai, Oct 23: Today in the afternoon one private bus bearing the registration number AS01-AC-0154 coming Guwahahti towards Dharamnagar while reaching Kongong in East Jaintia Hills overturned and three passenger die on the spot, four others seriously injured and many others got minor injury.
The superintendent of police of the East Jiantia Hills District told SP News Agency that the bus is coming from Guwahahti towards Dahramnagar but while reaching Kongong it overturned and in the incident three passengers die on the spot, four others seriously injured and many got minor injury.
Sources said that the three passengers who die on the spot are identified as Mahesh Deori from Assam, Dumar Karki from Nepal and Muhamad Rahaman from Sutnga. The four seriously injured are shifted to NEIGHRIMS hospital Shillong, 17 othrs were treated at Jowai Civil Hospital.(SP News)
