Ampati, Sept 08: The Block-Level Chief Minister’s Youth Engagement Programme 2026 was held at the Zikzak Multi-Facility Centre (MFC) Building on September 8 under the theme “Young Meghalaya, Shaping Tomorrow.”
Organised by the District Sports Office, South West Garo Hills, Ampati, the programme brought together young people from across Zikzak C&RD Block and provided them with a platform to participate, connect, develop their skills and explore opportunities for personal growth and community development.
The programme featured a range of youth-oriented activities aimed at encouraging leadership, creativity, teamwork, participation and a spirit of healthy competition among the youth.
The initiative formed part of the Chief Minister’s Youth Engagement Programme, which sought to actively engage Meghalaya’s young population and provide opportunities for them to develop their talents, strengthen life skills and contribute meaningfully to the development of the State.
