National Disaster Respond Force holding awareness programmed at Mawkhar

Residence of Mawkhar participate at the mok drill organised by the NDRFShillong, April 20: The  Dorbar Shnong of Mawkhar in collaboration with the National Disaster respond force from Guwahati today imparted training to the people and student of the areas on how to save themselves if any natural calamities occurred.

Commandant IBNNDRF(BSF) Randhir  Kumar said that in the country there are twelve National Disaster respond force station, and north East has one station base in Guwahati. There duties is to impart training to the people so that the community will save themselves if any thing happen.

In this awareness programmed that was held at St Dominic Higher Secondary School which attended by the people of the surrounding areas and school students got the first hand knowledge on haw to deal if natural calamities happen.

The National Disaster Respond Force, teaches the people on haw to help an injured person at the times of disaster, Commandant Kumar said that pre-treatment hospital is more important to save the life of the injured person.

The headman of the Mwkhar dorbar Mr WHD Syngkon thank the team who has come all the way from Guwahati to demonstrate method hove to rescued people at the time of emergency. Fr Richard Mawjaw welcome the team and all who has come to witness the demonstration.(SP News)
