Shillong, June 09: The Government of Meghalaya is seeking the approval of the central government to separate the investigation from the executive so that the work load will not be much to police officer who are in charge of various police station in the state.
The present conviction in Meghalaya is very law due to heavy work load that the police personal has to perform ever day. The present home minister Smti Roshan Warjri is working hard to convince the central to government for approval, sources told SP News Agency.
The government is very much alive with the sanitation that the work load in different police station that they have to carried, they have to perform their daily duty and at the same time they have to crried out the investigation part which is not possible for the officer in-charge to carried his duty.
From the state government they have already prepared the plan to separate investigation from the executive. If the central government approve the government of Meghalaya will have to create many more post in the police department since this job has to be done by the state police.(SP News)
