Shillong, Aug 7: The education cell of the Khasi Student’s Union (KSU) expressed concerned over the delay of the Health Department to bring out the list of the eligible candidates applying to undergone MBBS courses through government quota.
The KSU felt that such delay affect the career of those anxious students from the state especially those who depended on quota to pursue their career.
Lamenting over the laid back performances of the state government, Donald V Thabah KSU Education Secretary on Wednesday said that in other states of the country MBBS courses has already been started
“If the government keeps on delaying then the students from this side will miss the first part of their courses and they will find it difficult to cope up with others,” Thabah said.
In connection to this the KSU urged upon the Health Department to speed up in bringing out the list of eligible candidates who can pursue the MBBS courses.(SP News)
