Shillong, Dec 22: For the first time in the history of BJP Meghalaya, the BJP Minority Morcha organised a Pre-Christmas Celebration at the State BJP Office, Shillong. This landmark programme marked a significant step towards strengthening inclusivity and harmony within the party and the state.
The event was graciously attended by Shri Alexander Hek MLA and Shri Rikman G Momin, State President, whose presence added great encouragement and significance to the occasion.
During the celebration, Christmas hymns were sung and prayers were recited at the BJP Meghalaya office — another historic first — symbolising respect, unity, and shared values. The atmosphere reflected joy, faith, and togetherness.
The programme was a grand success and sent a strong, positive message to the people of Meghalaya that BJP is an inclusive party, committed to walking together with the Christian community of the state, respecting their faith, and working sincerely for their welfare.
This historic initiative reinforces Prime Minister Modi ji’s vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and strengthens the bond of trust with all communities across the state.
