At the 4th Convocation of the ICFAI University, Meghalaya, 544 graduands  received their degrees

Shillong, April 29: The ICFAI University Meghalaya held the 4th Convocation to award the students of the class of 2022 in the University’s Tura Campus on the 29th April 2023.

A total number of 544 graduands received their degrees, out of which 6 students received the General Proficiency Awards, 15 students received Gold Medals for securing the First Position and 18 students the Silver Medals for securing the Second Position.

The Chief Minister of the State of Meghalaya Shri. Conrad K. Sangma graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He congratulated the students on their achievements and wished them the best in their future endeavors.

The Chancellor of the University, Lt. General (Dr) Arvinder Singh Lambha in his speech exhorted the graduands to reach greater heights of glory by being curious of seeking new knowledge and by maximizing their strength and abilities.

Welcoming the dignitaries and graduands, Dr. Alicia Gatphoh, Vice Chancellor of the University put on record the gratitude the University acknowledges for the august presence of the Chief Minister.

She highlighted the works and achievements of the University in rendering quality education to the students of Meghalaya in particular and the other States of India and the international Students.

The somber occasion came to a closure with a note of gratitude from the Registrar, Dr. Indrani B Bhuyan following the rendition of the National Anthem.
