The cyclonic circulation over northeast Assam persists and now seen at 0.9 km above mean sea level. Under the influence of these systems, Heavy rain with thunderstorm and lightning and gusty wind with wind speed of 40 to 50 Kmph is likely to occur on 01st April 2024.
Heavy rain with thunderstorm and lightning and gusty wind with wind speed of 30 to 40 Kmph is likely to occur on 02nd and 04th April 2024 at isolated places over Meghalaya. Available data indicates that moderate to heavy rain occurred over Meghalaya during the last 24hrs.
