Shillong, Dec15: The Government of Meghalaya in a Notification issued through the Home (Police) Department has notified for setting up the Urban Warfare Training Facility (UWTF) at SF-10, Mawiong, Meghalaya.
This will provide realistic, scalable training from basic CQB to advanced multi-storey buildings clearance, hostage rescue, breaching and urban surveillance integration. This facility will strengthen the State capacity, reduce operational risks and improve inter-agency response.
