Shillong, April 05: The student body under the banner North Eastern Hill University Student Union(NEHUSU) today organised the protest in the permanent campus Shillong of the North Eastern Hill University against the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019.
The student body burned the effigy of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah in protests against the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019 held at the NEHU Campus.
