Shillong, May 28: This is to inform that on the 25th May, 2025 a written test was conducted for the post of Un-Armed Branch Constable (UBC) in various Districts.
However, despite clear instructions about examination’s rules and conducts to the candidates, in one of the examination centres in West Garo Hills, one candidate bearing Roll No 33025614 was reported to have resorted to malpractices by using unfair means during the examination which amounted to violation of the rules and guidelines of the Examination.
The invigilators swiftly confronted the candidate for queries and verification, but the candidate hurriedly tore the Admit Card into pieces and fled from the scene. The malafide gesture cannot be ruled out of guilt feelings consequential from practicing unfair means during the exam.
Hence, the candidate bearing the above roll number is hereby withheld from this recruitment and debarred from this police recruitment until further order. If the concerned person wishes to contend and appeal or file representation against this Notice, he or she may do so to the appellate authority CRB by submitting petition through the Superintendent of Police, West Garo Hills District.
The Superintendent of Police who is the Examination-in-Charge of police examinations held within West Garo Hills District, within 7 days of this publication, failing which the decision made in this regard is deemed to be ‘Final’.
