Jowai, June 22: Meghalaya police constable Mr Harish Kumar Mahnata 45 years of age who is posted at Dawki Police station of West Jaintia Hills District commits suicide at his official quarter at Dawki.
The Superintendent of Police of West Jaintia Hills District said that, the constable commit suicide at his official quarter, so far no suicide note has been found from the quarter where he reside, the matter is under investigation.
The constable hail from Assam, the police will complete all the formalities and will sent the body to his native place in Assam.
