Guwahati, Dec 15: Symphony Limited, the world’s largest manufacturer of air-coolers announces an initiative “A 27°C World’ on World Energy Conservation Day with the mission to deliver an accessible, affordable, and sustainable cooling solution for all.
The core ethos of the initiative is to encourage cooling practices that doesn’t cause global warming. This holds special significance considering the recent World Meteorological Organization’s (WMO) state of the Global Climate 2021 report, which says that the last seven years have been the warmest since Industrial Revolution.
According to a research by NASA, the productivity of an individual can be severely impacted by working in high temperatures. The report denotes that 27°C is an ideal ambient temperature for humans, for them to be at their most productive and creative selves.
If this temperature is not managed, then an individual can experience a loss of up to 40% accuracy in their output. Through this new initiative, Symphony aims to democratize comfort by providing an affordable & eco-friendly cooling solution that maintains this ambient temperature.
Mr. Amit Kumar, Executive Director and Group CEO, Symphony Limited, says, “We are elated to launch this initiative, A 27°C World” with a mission to provide environmentally friendly cooling solutions that consume up to 90% less electricity than conventional cooling solutions.
Their R&D team is consistently innovating to ensure seamless and sustainable cooling solutions for all applications from a small room to large industries. To amplify the reach and the impact of our commitment, we are collaborating with like-minded partners and communities. We hope to make a difference in the ecosystem with our mission and create sustainable solutions that help individuals and businesses grow.”
The company has also launched a video that entails the catastrophic effects of climate change and how it is imperative to innovate and co-create solutions that positively impact our lives without any detrimental cost to nature.
Contributing to this mission, Symphony Ltd recently launched “Symphony Forest Park” located at Ahmedabad. This forest park, densely filled with green plantations of exotic species has been built in the heart of the city with the aim to reduce pollution and carbon footprint of the area.
