Shillong, April 29: Whereas there is rapid and alarming increase in number of COVID-19 cases and in hospitalizations across the country in view of which there is a need to take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the State.
Therefore, in order to prevent the spread of the virus, the exemption of testing granted to visiting Constitutional Authorities, visiting VVIPS, Officials of Government of India Departments, investigating officials of CBI, NIA, Income Tax, etc., vide Notification No. Health.94/2020/102 dated 12-01-2021 is hereby withdrawn with immediate effect until further orders.
