Shillong, March 29: The Garo students ‘union Northern Zone annoy against M/S C. C. L international Ltd. and PWD Roads, Resubelpara for delaying it’s construction of mendipathar -songsak and Gajingpara -Resubelpara roads even though the student’s body submitted memorandum on 30th January 2017 to Deputy commissioner of North garo hills on the issued.
The Union has given 15 days ultimatum to the District Administration to issue instructions to the company to start the construction of the said roads. The GSU alleged that, the District Administration as well as Department concern PWD Road fails to fulfill the demand within the stipulated time, as assurance by the District administration, and PWD and representative of the company on 21st February 2017.
The District administration and the PWD official promised that works will be done from 1st March 2017, but till today No such work has been fulfil. Therefore the union condemns the District administration, PWD and M/S C C L international Ltd. for not fulfilling our Demand. Said Mr Bintu Sangma, Asst.
