Shillong, Oct 09: The Indian Post North East Circle celebrating the National Postal Week from the 9 of October till 13 of October 2023. This celebration is aimed at generating a broad awareness about Indian Post roles and different activities in the nation development. Speaking in the press briefing Mr. Subrat Das Chief Post Master North East Circle speak about the different programs will be organize in this week long.
In this week long different activities will be organize on the 10 of October Dak Community Development Programs will be organize active participation of all stakeholders from central, states and local government. This will bring awareness on financial Inclusion and also augment the opening of post saving bank and Rural postal life Insurance Policies.
On the 11 of October quizzes and seminar will be organize in different school and villages, there will be interactive session in school for “ DhaiAkhar” digital india for New India.
On th 12 there will be a Customer Meets which will be held at all division , the interactive session and work shops with postmaster and delivery staff in the field units and nodal delivery centers to improve delivery Efficiency.
On the 13, seminars will be organsie by each circle were the officers of various departments of respective states goverments dealing with the matters or schemes related to the upliftments of poor, marginalized and backward section of the society shall be invited for panel discussion. Awerness cum adhar enrolment will be organize in rural areas .
