The KSU asked the Education Department to verified on CBCS implemented by NEHU

Shillong, November 29: The Khasi Student Union (KSU) has written to Mr D. P. Wahlang, Commissioner Secretary, Education, Government of Meghalaya, urging his to take up with the official of the North Eastern Hills University for urgent rectification of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) implemented by University.

In the letter address to the Commissioner Secretary Education department  government of Meghalaya the  Khasi Students’Union (K.S.U.) bring to your kind attention the new policy implemented recently by the North-Eastern Hill University (N.E.H.U) with regards to the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS).

Where by unnecessary restrictions have been imposed on the students in choosing their subjects at the Under Graduate level and have brought the students of the University in a dilemma and hence requires your immediate intervention to this unjustified decision by the North-Eastern Hill University Administration.

The Union demands that the Education Department verify the decision and if found to be true should immediately direct the Vice-Chancellor, NEHU, to withdraw the said decision.
